Role Profile – Senior Auditor – LAO

Position Summary:•Provide assistance to Audit Manager in the preparation of planning and fieldwork phases of the audit•Accountability for the completion of electronic working papers / audit section and issue log in accordance with defined detailed instructions•Investigate issues thoroughly to determine root causes and report to Audit Manager•Completeness & content of issues reported in the database•Decision making ability within defined parameters•Interaction with peers / participation in team discussions•Involves a high degree of National/International travel, up to 90%

Primary Responsibilities•Ability to understand business processes, new products, risks & controls•Completion & standard of electronic working papers•Ability to complete audit programs on a timely basis•Completion & standard of ACL data analysis•Ability to interact with other team members•Contribution in improving audit process•Ability to work in different environments and locations

Experience and Skills:•Bachelor degree in accounting, business administration, or other related field of study•Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing (preferably with an international auditing firm)•Industry experience (banking, finance); basic understanding of the regulatory & control framework•Basic understanding of accounting experience – management accounts, statutory accounts & familiarity with US accounting framework•Effective working knowledge of IT incl.Use of ACL, Word, Excel, Power point & Access•Communication skills

•Fluent in Portuguese and English.Conversant in Spanish.•Experience of working in large multinational corporations
